A Review Paper on Student Computer Interaction for Student_ Crimson Publishers

A Review Paper on Student Computer Interaction for Student by Gajendra Sharma* in Integrative Journal of Conference Proceedings_ Integrative Journal of Conference Proceedings

Abstract
One of the main aims in human-computer interaction research is to develop an ability to recognize affective state of the user. Such a capability is necessary to have a more human-like nature in human-computer interaction. The enhancement in the development of computer technology has led to the idea of human computer interaction. Research examination in human computer interaction involves the young age group of students that are educated and technically knowledgeable. This paper focuses on the mental model in Human Computer Interaction. There are various methods of this review paper and one of them is highlighting current method, results and the trends in the human computer interaction and the second method is to find out the research that have been develop a long time before and are currently lagging behind. This paper also focuses on the emotional intelligence of a student to become more user like, fidelity prototyping. The development and design of an automated system to achieve dependable, usable and well-engineered interactive require more applied computer interaction research and awareness of its issues. To achieve dependable, usable, and well-engineered interactive digital academic supportive devices requires applied human computer interaction research and awareness of its issues.

Introduction
The Human computer interaction is the practice and study of usability. It is about the relationship between a human and a computer, their mutual understandings and by creating a software which would ease the work of a human and people would love to use and would be able to use it. It may also be said that it is a study of how humans use computers to perform certain tasks and use it in such a way that the interaction is being enjoyed and effective. As the name suggests, it comprises of three parts namely the user, the computer and their interaction. It involves the sketching of low and high fidelity, i.e., the degree of exactness a thing is being reproduced. The initial step to an intelligent HCI is having the abilities to respond and sense appropriately according to user’s affective feedback and detect, interpret the affective states shown by the user instinctually. This paper also focuses on various types of HCI design approaches.

The advent of computers in schools has diversified the types of educational communication. Students still have interpersonal interactions with teachers, but they also have many computer-mediated communications: communications with people through computer (using e-mail, for instance) and communication with the computer itself. The latter has given rise to an important field of study known as Human-Computer Interaction

Analysis and Identification of two Soaps by Infrared Absorption Spectra and Reflectance Graphs_ Crimson Publishers

Analysis and Identification of two Soaps by Infrared Absorption Spectra and Reflectance Graphs by Chryssou K* in Journal of Advanced Chemical Sciences_ Annals of Chemical Science Research

Abstract
Two soap bars one green and another white green were analyzed, and their total fatty matter content, unsaponifiable, un-saponified and un-saponified saponifiable matter content, ethanol-insoluble matter, and free caustic alkali content were determined. The infrared spectra of total lipids, unsaponifiable fats, and insoluble matter in ethanol, were recorded for the two soaps. The Kubelka-Munk K/S values were calculated using the expression depended on reflectivity R͚ of the observed soap’s surface, as well as the CIE L*a*b* values for both soaps.

Introduction
Chemically soap is a mixture of the sodium or potassium salts of long chain fatty acids produced by hydrolysis (saponification) of fat with alkali. Wood ash was used before as a source of alkali, when NaOH became commercially available. Crude soap curd contains glycerol and excess alkali as well as soap, and purification is affected by boiling with a large amount of water and adding NaCl to precipitate the pure sodium carboxylate salts. The smooth soap that precipitates is dried, perfumed and pressed into bars for household use. Soaps act as cleansers because the two ends of a soap molecule are so different. The sodium salt end of the long-chain molecule is ionic and therefore hydrophilic; it tries to dissolve in water. The long hydrocarbon chain portion of the molecule however is nonpolar and lipophilic; it tries to dissolve in grease. The net effect of these two opposing tendencies is that soaps are attracted to both grease and water and are therefore valuable as cleansers.

When the soap is dispersed in water the long hydrocarbon tails cluster together in a lipophilic ball, while the ionic heads on the surface of the cluster stick out into the water layer. These spherical clusters are called micelles. Grease and oil droplets are solubilized in water when they are coated by the nonpolar tails of the soap molecules in the center of micelles. Once solubilized the grease and dirt can be rinsed away. In this work the two soaps were analyzed and characterized as finished products. The green and white-green soaps are generally considered as anionic surface-active agents

Radial Club Hand, a Rare Congenital Abnormality: Report of Two Cases_ Crimson Publishers

Radial Club Hand, a Rare Congenital Abnormality: Report of Two Cases by Ashima Mahajan Crimson Publishers in Orthoplastic Surgery & Orthopedic Care International Journal_ Orthopedic Care International Journal

Abstract
Congenital radial deficiency is an extremely rare congenital anomaly and its presentation may vary from mild hypoplasia to complete absence of radius. Club hand deformities are classified into two main categories radial and ulnar. Ulnar club hand is much less frequent than radial club hand. It is also known as radial club hand or radial dysplasia. We report two cases of rare congenital abnormality which can be helpful to the literature.

Introduction
Congenital radial deficiency also known as radial club hand is a relatively rare congenital anomaly. Patient may present with variable degree of deficiency along the radial (or preaxial) side of the limb and is usually associated with absent thumb, thumb hypoplasia, thin first metacarpal and absent radius [1]. Ulnar club hand is much less frequent than radial club hand and ranges from mild deviation of hand on the ulnar side of forearm to complete absence of ulna. The estimated incidence of CRD is found to be 1 in 30,000 to 1 in 100,000 live births and most of the cases occurs sporadically with no known cause or associated with the syndrome.
Case 1

A 4-year-old male child was brought to the OPD with complaints of cough and fever for 2 days. There was a history of a deformed right upper limb since birth. He was a product of a non-consanguineous marriage and his perinatal history was uneventful (Figure 1). There was no family history of a similar deformity in the past two generations and his developmental history was normal for his age. There was no history of blood transfusion. The physical examination of the child revealed a shortened right forearm which was atrophied as compared to the opposite normal limb and he had a single forearm bone. There was limitation of movements of the right elbow flexion and extension including the rotatory movements of the forearm and the wrist. The systemic examination was normal. Evaluation of the radiographs of both the upper limbs revealed complete absence of the right radius and right first metacarpal bone. Chest X-ray, echocardiogram, hemogram including the platelet counts and ultrasound of the abdomen were normal.

Figure 1: X-ray right forearm with hand revealed complete absence of radius and thumb (type IV congenital radial deficiency).

Comparative Assessment of Zinc Sulphate and Essentiale Forte® in Managing Biochemical Alterations of Carbon Tetrachloride-Induced Hepatotoxicity on Adult Wistar Rats_ Crimson Publishers

Comparative Assessment of Zinc Sulphate and Essentiale Forte® in Managing Biochemical Alterations of Carbon Tetrachloride-Induced Hepatotoxicity on Adult Wistar Rats by Arayombo Babatunde E in Open Access Research in Anatomy_ Journal of Anatomy

Abstract

Objective: This study was to assess and compare the effect of Zinc Sulphate and Essential Forte® on the biochemistry of carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) induced hepatotoxicity in adult Wistar rats.

Material and method: Twenty five adult Wistar rats, weighing between 150 g and 170 g, were used for the study. They were housed in plastic cages fed on standard laboratory rat pellets and given water ad libitum. The animals were divided into five groups A, B, C, D and E (n=5). Group (A) received 0.7ml/kg of olive oil orally. Groups B, C, D and E were administered CCl4 (0.7ml/kg orally) for 1 week in 1:1 dilution with olive oil. After CCl4 administration Group C was treated with Essentiale Forte® (4.5mg/kg bw orally) for four weeks. Group D was treated with Zinc Sulphate (7mg/kg bworally) daily for four weeks. Group E received Zinc Sulphate (7mg/kg bw orally) and Essentiale Forte® (4.5mg/kg bw orally) for a period of 4 weeks, while group B was left untreated. Animals were left for another one week and afterwards sacrificed under ether anaesthesia. Blood samples were obtained via cardiac puncture and centrifuged to obtain serum. Markers of liver function such as, Aspartate Amino Transferase (AST), Alanine Amino Transferase (ALT) as well as Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) were estimated in the serum using enzyme colorimeter assay kit (Randox). Data obtained were analyzed by one way ANOVA, then Student Newman-Keuls (SNK) test for multiple comparisons.

Results: Treatment with Zn and or Essentiale Forte® restored the hepatic function as the biochemical analysis with Mean±SEM showed significant reduction in the levels of markers of liver function and protected the liver tissue from fatty and degenerative changes.

Conclusion: This study showed that combination of Essential Forte® and Zinc supplement offered better ameliorative effect on the markers of liver function of Wistar rats following CCl4 induced-hepatotoxicity compared with separate administration of either Essential Forte® or Zinc supplement.

A Rare Case of Sezary Syndrome Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma with Complete Response_ Crimson Publishers

A Rare Case of Sezary Syndrome Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma with Complete Response by Hojouj Mohammad IM in Journal of Biotechnology & Bioresearch_ Journal of Biotechnology

Abstract

Cutaneous T cell lymphoma is one of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Several types of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma exist. The most common type is mycosis fungoides. Sezary syndrome is a less common type that causes skin redness over the entire body. The common symptoms of Sezary syndrome are erythroderma, leukemia with circulating mononuclear cells having convoluted nuclei and lymph node enlargement due to infiltration by similar cells.

Lymphoma starts in the lymphocytes, or the cells in the immune system that are normally found in the lymphatic system. If lymphocytes start growing out of control, they can build up and form a cancerous collection of cells in the skin that can lead to lymphoma. Patients with skin lymphoma might experience a variety of vague or unusual symptoms, including:

1.                  Peeled skin

2.                  Rash, which sometimes can itch

3.                  Mushroom-like skin lesions

4.                  Swollen lymph nodes, or painless lumps, in the skin

5.                  Unexplained fevers and weight loss

Skin lymphoma usually is well behaved and doesn’t spread throughout the body. However, it has the potential to do so in approximately 15 to 20 percent of cases. At the specialized skin lymphoma clinic at UT Southwestern, we offer a range of treatment options to effectively beat the two specific types of skin lymphoma and their various subtypes.

Sezary syndrome is an aggressive form of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma which is a group of disorders that occur when T-cells (a type of white blood cell) become cancerous and affect the skin. It is characterized by a widespread red rash that may cover most of the body, the presence of cancerous T cells (called Sezary cells) in the blood, and abnormally enlarged lymph nodes. Other signs and symptoms may include intense itchiness, scaling and peeling of the skin; fever; weight loss; hair loss; outward turning of the eyelids (ectropion); palmoplantar keratoderma; malformation of the nails; and hepatosplenomegaly. The exact cause of Sezarysyndrome is currently unknown. Treatment varies based on the signs and symptoms present in each person and the severity of the condition.

Prognosis:

The long-term outlook (prognosis) for people with Sezary syndrome is generally poor. Sezary syndrome is difficult to cure. Treatment is usually palliative, with the intention of relief of symptoms and improvement in the quality of life. Median survival for patients with Sezary syndrome has been reported to be 2 to 4 years after development of the condition, although survival has improved with newer treatments. The disease-specific 5-year survival rate has been reported to be 24%. We present 1 case of Sezary syndrome which happened in our hospital with complete response.
