Spirituality is known to play a significant role in patients' well-being and quality of life. Responding to patients' spiritual needs is considered to be an essential element of high quality medical care. Consequently, it seems logical that there is a professional requirement for nurses to achieve competence in the delivery of spiritual care. This study aims to examine the impact of nurses' spiritual well-being on patients' spiritual care. A total of 210 nurses working in critical care units completed Basic Psychological Needs questionnaire and Spiritual Care Competence Scale

Objectives: The importance of considering need for recovery after work and recovery opportunities at the workplace is relevant for occupational groups supporting clients in the workplace. Therefore, it is important that these concepts may be estimated with valid and reliable instruments within also a Swedish context. Thus, the aim of the study was to adapt the Need for Recovery (NFR) scale and the Recovery Opportunities (RO) scale to Swedish conditions and to assess the psychometric properties of the scales.




The Useof Artificial Neural Network and Logistic Regression to Predict the Influenceof Lifestyle on Cardiovascular Risk Factors_ Crimson Publishers




Objective: The first cause of death worldwide is cardiovascular disease (CVD). CVD covers a wide array of disorders, including diseases of the cardiac muscle and of the vascular system supplying the heart, brain, and other vital organs. This research aims to the comprehensive impact that a series of lifestyle data from a population has on the main cardiovascular risk factors. Such predictions of the influence of lifestyle on cardiovascular risk factors could be useful.

Material and methods: A cross-sectional study was designed; the subjects who lived in Minodar, Iran were interviewed by trained nurses using a structural questionnaire. Data were processed from a sample of 393 subjects of both sexes aged 26-79 years old. The output data were: high/low cholesterolemia, HDL-C cholesterol, triglyceridemia. The input data were: sex, age, build, weight, marital status, Individual's status in the family, physical activity, hours of sleep per day, smoking, tobacco type, BMI. Two predictor models including artificial neural network and linear regression were applied

The new era of nursing research is to develop the innovating research in team style to improve the quality of care in the clinical or community settings or teaching in the nursing education. For the clinical settings, ten Ham [1] integrate reviewed 35 documents regarding the characteristics of benefit levers’ for evidences-based nursing practices and indicated that three standards of individual, organizational, and contextual trait were merged into the different types, strategies, position, attitude, and support of leadership for the purpose of changing by the reinforcing structures. However, Munten [2] integrated reviewed 21 action studies to identify the lack of implementation strategies in terms of the intensity and frequency so that the authors could not provide evidences-based protocols for nursing research using action designed; additionally, the majority of research projects were focus on improving the knowledge of nurses, but their performances and the patients’ outcomes
