Reply to Your Editorial on Nobel Prize by Foghorn E Leghorn* in Significances of Bioengineering & Biosciences
I read with interest and alarm the editorial suggesting a Nobel Prize for Dr. Tom Spears. I know Dr. Spears well, and I would like to voice my opposition. Spears is a nice boy, but the kid’s about as sharp as a bowling ball. He and I debated the phrazaloopic interpretation of strung theory at a conference last month, and he clearly does not have a scientifically valid position. I told him: “What’s it all about boy, elucidate!” And he could not. The kid’s about as sharp as a sack of wet mice. So he kept lecturing more and more, as busy as a centipede in a toe-counting contest, and I just wanted to spank him where the feathers are thinnest. He was not making any cogent points. He was doing a lot of chopping but no chips were flying, if you get my drift.
